On October 6, 2013 the Haunt Rater Crew journeyed to a land where “your screams cannot be heard!” Screams at the Beach is one place that you do not want to take for granted. We ended up going through five horrifying attractions that proved to be a “Test of True Wits!” We began our “Night of Screams” by entering the “House of the Hollow”. If you are looking for a scary house to visit then, this is it! You will come to truly understand the real meaning of “FEAR!!!” Enter if you dare and survive if you must but, the hallow will find you and when he does…well, I guess you will have to wait and see for yourself…won’t you?

            The next part of our journey consisted of “The Cemetery of Sorrows.” Well, if you thought entering the House of the Hollow was bad, well, try this place on for size! Here is where you will find the resting place of all the souls that the hollow has taken from this wretched world and kept for himself. Though I do have to say I have some good news and some bad news for you. The Bad News is that you will most likely join those lost souls trapped in that Hell forever! The Good News is…Well, let’s be honest there is no good news here! Once you’re in…you never get out!!!

Our third visit consisted of entering the tortured souls of the Pandemonium Asylum. If you thought that the people who brought you Screams at the Beach were crazy, just wait until you enter into this place. A whole new kind of crazy has been invented here! Not only can your heart not take it but, you may also lose your mind as well. Watch out for your soul because that may just remain there as well!

The next part of our “Scarefest” if you will, was a walk through “Abomination Acres!” You will never understand the definition of “Abomination” until you have walked a mile through this attraction, and we dare you to do it in our shoes…because you can probably still find them somewhere within as we were scared to the core so much that we were scared out of our shoes! Cornstalks, Scarecrows, and monsters of all kinds infest these grounds. Make it out alive and you win, come face to face with the demons of these Acres and…YOU LOSE!

            Our fifth and final tour ended with “Escape the Crimson Woods.” The name alone just makes your heart pound. Ever wonder what it takes to escape the souls of the damned? Well, now you can find out as you travel through the woods of horror that only the bravest of souls would dare to venture. You will definitely come face to face with fear itself. You will even leave the safety of the wagon as you must find your way through the woods and back to your wagon…that is if you can!!! We wish you luck for luck may be all you have left once you have experienced “Escape the Crimson Woods!”
