On October 20, 2012 The Haunt Rater Crew had quite an adventure at Shocktoberfest. This place will rock your world like no other. Our first attraction of the night was “The Unknown”. It is a 3-D adventure that leaves you questioning why you even dared to try it to begin with. You will face your deepest and darkest of phobias and fears. You will come face to face with your worst of nightmares! You may even want to cry! But, I wouldn’t do it too loud because the creatures that lurk within “The Unknown” are sensitive to the weak and may take them as a trophy or permanent fixture of their home away from home here on earth!

Next we made our way over to the prison of the dead. This was a fan favorite no doubt and our favorite as well. You will first be placed onto a “high security” bus to be shipped off to the prison for a tour that will leave you begging to be left out! Don’t be too scared…the evil spirits of the Prison of the Dead can smell fear and will find you and may even go so far as to make you their next meal…a meal which they have not had in decades! You will face all manner of obstacles, twists and turns throughout the prison. Do not get lost from your group! You may never leave again!

The third and final attraction of the night was the Zombie Revenge Hayride! This was literally “To Die For”! You want an adventure packed hayride filled with all sorts of zombies, experiments, trials and all manner of evil then here is your chance to have the experience of a lifetime. Jump aboard for 30 minutes of sheer terror. Do not feed the zombies they will bite…your hand off! Don’t worry, you will make it out, I just cannot promise in how many pieces!

After you finish and if you want to give your weak heart a break feel free to stop by the monster midway for some good treats to eat or play some fun filled games. Also there is Club Shock, “Ghouls Gone Wild” which you can party and dance to some of the best music of today. There is just so much to do and so many scares to be had at Shocktoberfest.
